Having trouble with your match report? Here's how to fix the most common issues — from the Match Report button not showing to numbers that look off. For what each part of the report shows, see Match report.
Which matches can have a match report?
The match report is for football matches only — it isn't available for other sports or for training sessions. If your recording is a match but the button is missing, it may be set as a training. Open Match settings, go to Match details, and set the Match type correctly.
The two versions
- Basic Match Report — available on all matches recorded from 6 October 2026 onwards. For matches before that date, it may or may not be available, depending on when your club's subscription was last renewed
- Advanced Match Report — available on all matches with Analytics 2, recorded from 4 August 2026 onwards
The Match Report button isn't showing
- The recording is still processing. The button shows up once the recording has finished uploading and processing. If you've just uploaded, check back a bit later — the button appears on its own
- The recording isn't eligible. Check the eligibility and dates above
- The recording is locked. If the recording has a lock icon, it's outside your current plan and the report isn't available
- It hasn't been set up yet, and you're a contributor. Before the report can show, a coach or admin confirms which team is yours and which way each team attacked in each half. Until that's done, only coaches and admins see the button — ask your team admin to set it up. Set up your match report
The report's there but something looks wrong
- The team stats look swapped. This usually means the sides were confirmed the wrong way round. A club admin, team admin or editor can fix it in Match settings — check the kick-off clip to see which way your team was shooting, correct the side and save. The stats reload the next time the report opens. Set up your match report
- An event is wrong or missing. Fix it manually in the editor, then refresh the page — the match report updates with your change. Physical data (distance, speed and intensity) is measured automatically and can't be edited. Learn how to edit events
