This article explains who can see your Club's content on Veo: the difference between followers and members, the difference between livestreams and recordings, and what to check when someone can't find a match in the Veo app.

Followers are not members
Following a team is not the same as being a member of it.
- A member belongs to your Club or one of its teams
- A follower has chosen to follow one of your teams in the Veo app, but does not belong to your Club
Following is tied to individual teams, not to Clubs.
In the Veo app, the two groups do not see the same content:
| Livestreams | Recordings | |
|---|---|---|
| Members | Yes | Yes |
| Followers | Yes, if your Club is visible to them | No |
| Everyone else | Public livestreams only | No |
Note: In the Veo app, recordings are always treated as private — available to members only, whether you set the recording to Public or Private. To let someone watch your recordings in the app, add them as a member. On the web, a recording set to Public can be watched by anyone with the link.
If you can't see a Club's recordings
This section is for anyone who follows a team but is not part of the Club — a parent, a relative, or a supporter.
If you can watch a team's livestreams but its recordings don't appear, nothing is broken. Recordings are only available to Club members.
- To watch recordings, you need to be a member of the Club or one of its teams
- Only a Club admin can add you. Ask your Club admin to add you as a member. Once they do, the Club's recordings appear in the Veo app
Livestreams and recordings are not the same thing
A match can exist on Veo in two forms:
- A livestream: the match was streamed live
- A recording: the match was uploaded from the camera
A single match can end up as a livestream only, a recording only, or both. This matters because followers only ever see livestreams. If a match was never streamed live, there is nothing there for a follower to watch; the recording exists, but recordings are for members.
Content is missing: what to check
If someone can't see content they expect to see, work through these in order:
- Are they a member or a follower? A follower will never see recordings. A member should see both
- Is the missing content a livestream or a recording? They follow different rules
- Was the match actually livestreamed? If it was never streamed live, it won't appear in the Veo app for followers
- Check both settings. Clubhouse visibility and recording privacy are separate — one being Public does not make the other Public
FAQs
In the Veo app, followers can watch streams that were previously livestreamed. Recordings are only available to members. Making a recording public does not change this — followers are not members. To give someone access to your recordings, add them to your Club.
First check whether they are a member or a follower. Followers only see livestreams, so if the match was never streamed live, there is nothing for them to watch. Members should see both livestreams and recordings.
This is expected. Followers can watch livestreams, but recordings are only available to Club members. If you want them to watch recordings too, add them as members.
No. Following is tied to individual teams. To follow more than one of your teams, they need to follow each team separately.
