Veo Editor overview: features and available tools

The Veo Editor is your team’s performance hub, the place to watch, break down, and share your matches so you can turn every game into a learning opportunity. The video takes center stage, with powerful tools arranged to help you spot patterns, sharpen tactics, and level up your game.

Note: The tools and features you see depend on your active add-ons and the sport you’ve recorded.


Accessing the Veo Editor

  1. Log in at app.veo.co
  2. Select the game from your Library

The Veo Editor keeps the video front-and-center, with essential tools close at hand.

Menu Bar overview

On desktop, the menu bar is located along the right-hand side of the Veo Editor interface.

On mobile, the menu bar appears at the bottom of the screen.

The available tools depend on your add-ons and sport.

  1. Add new clip Available for all sports
    Create a new clip at any point in the video.
  2. Add new event Football only
    Tag a new match event manually.
  3. Analytics Requires Veo Analytics add-on and football only
    Besides the Analytics panel with team stats and Coach Assist, access score and timer, 2D radar overlay in the video, and Match Momentum in the timeline.
  4. Player moments Requires Player Spotlight add-on and football only
    View game moments relating to specific players who are highlighted with a circle for easier focus.
  5. Clips list Available for all sports
    Browse all clips available for you in the recording.
  6. Events feed Football only
    View a list of all AI-detected and manually added match events.
  7. Lineup Football only
    Review your team’s starting lineup, add substitutes, captain(s), and player(s) of the match.
  8. Summary Available for all sports
    View the match summary and journal.

Drawing tools

The drawing tools are located on the left side of the video screen (not available on mobile). The drawing tools allow you to illustrate tactics, highlight key moments, and deliver more impactful feedback.

Playback controls

Above the video progress bar, small circles represent clips (filled circles) and, for football, also events (circle outlines). Click any circle to jump to that moment.

  • Play/pause the recording
  • Jump to next/previous clip using the left/right arrow buttons next to Play/Pause
  • Go back/forward 5 seconds
  • Speedrun: Football only and not available on mobile
  • Interactive player: Available for all sports
  • Playback speed: Available for all sports
  • Mute/Unmute audio
  • Full screen mode

Timeline & video navigation

The timeline is accessible from the bottom-right corner of the screen on desktop (not available on mobile).

Timeline is available for all plans and includes:

  • All clips (all sports)
  • All events (football only)
  • All bookmarks (for users at Team Editor permission level and higher)
  • Customizable view
  • Match Momentum graph (with Analytics add-on)

Share & download

You can share your recording or download it from the top-right corner of the Veo Editor on desktop.

Clips can be downloaded on all plans from the Clips panel.

On mobile, these options are in Settings, also located in the top-right corner.

Using shortcuts in the Veo Editor

On desktop, in the follow cam player, you can use keyboard shortcuts to quickly access tools and control playback while watching recordings. The full list is also available in Help & Resources inside the Veo Editor.
