Learn how to use Veo’s drawing tools to visually enhance your recordings. This feature allows coaches to illustrate tactics, highlight key moments, and deliver more impactful feedback, either live during video playback or saved as part of a clip.
Requirements:
- Available on tablet-size screens and larger
- Only supported in Follow-Cam mode (not available in Interactive Mode)
Use the drawing tool without saving a clip
You can draw on your video for live feedback without saving the edits as a clip. This is great for quick tactical discussions.
- Click the Add drawing icon in the bottom-left corner of the video player.
Select from various drawing options like:
- Colors
- Arrows
- Shapes
- Magnify
- Spotlight
- Freehand drawing
- Text
You can also undo, redo, or clear all drawings.
- When finished, click the “X” to close the tool and resume playback.
Note: Drawing without saving is only available on tablet-sized screens and larger.
Use the drawing tool and save your drawing as a clip
You can also save your drawing as part of a clip to reference later or share with your team.
- Click the Add drawing icon in the bottom-left corner.
- Create your drawing.
Click + (Create clip). Then:
- Select a tag
- Choose a team
- Optionally, leave a comment
- Set clip visibility
- Save your clip
Please note
Drawing tools are only available in Follow-Cam mode. Drawings cannot be created in Interactive Mode.
Watching clips with drawings
Clips with drawings will appear in your Clips list. When played, the clip will pause at the drawing moment, giving you time to provide analysis before continuing playback.
Note: Drawings are not included in downloaded clips. If you export a video, the drawings will not be visible in the downloaded file.
