In the Veo app you can claim the jersey you wore and see how your team performed, match by match. With the Veo Analytics 2 add-on you also get your own performance stats, heat maps, shot maps, passing data and player comparisons — no desktop required.
Requirements
- The latest version of the Veo app. Available on App Store and Google Play
- A Veo account, and membership of the team
- An active Veo Analytics 2 subscription (bought by the club or team, not by individual players)
- Veo Analytics 2 only applies to recordings made after the add-on was purchased
Note: The Veo Live app is now called Veo. If you already have it installed, just update the app — see Getting started with the Veo app.
Claim your jersey
Stats are tied to jersey numbers, so claiming the jersey you wore links the match to you.
- Open the Veo app, log in with your Veo email and password, and go to the match your team played
-
Tap Claim Jersey below the video
-
Select the jersey number you wore
- If you didn't play, select I didn't play in the top right corner
You can change your jersey claim at any time — tap the edit option at the top of the Overview tab.
Note: You can only claim a jersey on your own team's side. Opponent players are visible in the app but cannot be claimed.
Overview and Events tabs
Below the video you'll find the Overview and Events selector. Overview is your match dashboard — scroll down to move through each section, every one gives you a different view of the match.
Events tab
Tap Events, next to Overview, to see every moment from the match as a list of clips, in order:
- Blue jerseys are your team's events
- Red jerseys are the opponent's events
Tip: Tap the ⋮ icon on any event to Share or Download that clip.
Filter events
Tap Filters at the bottom of the Events tab to narrow the list down by team, player name or jersey number. Turn on Events only to move through the clips in sequence automatically, skipping the quiet moments.
You can also jump here directly — select the arrow next to an event stat, such as shots or assists, anywhere in Overview, and you'll land in Events pre-filtered to that player and event type.
My Performance
Back in Overview, once you've claimed your jersey a My Performance card appears at the top with a summary of your key stats for the match. Tap the card to open your full breakdown, which includes:
- Heat map: where you were most active on the pitch during the match
- Attacking: goals and attempts
- Physical: time played, distance, sprints, high intensity runs, top speed and average speed
- Set pieces: corners, free kicks, throw-ins and penalties
- Discipline: fouls
Tip: Tap the arrow next to an event stat to jump straight to the matching clips in the Events tab.
Team stats
Open a match and scroll down below the video to find Stats.
The Team view puts your team side by side with the opponent across goals, shots, attempts, corners and more. Tap Show All to see the full list.
Tip: Tap the arrow next to any metric to jump straight to the related clips in the Events tab.
Player stats
Switch Stats from Team to Players to see the same metrics broken down per player, for both your team and the opponent. If you want to compare two players:
- Open the Players view under Stats
- Select the first player you want to compare
- Select the second player
- Their stats appear side by side, metric by metric
Top Performers
Top Performers ranks every player in the match. Tap See All to expand it to full screen. In the expanded view, you can:
- Sort by metric: swipe through Goals, Shots, Distance, Sprints and more
- Filter by team: tap the filter icon in the top right corner and choose All, Our Team or Opponent
- Tap any player to see an overview of their stats
Shot map
The Shot Map plots every attempt on the pitch. Switch between Our Team and Opponent, and use the selector in the top right to view the full recording or a single period.
Each dot shows whether the attempt was a goal or a miss. The breakdown below includes:
- Goals and Missed attempts
- Conversion rate: total, inside the box and outside the box
Tap Goals or Missed to jump straight to those clips in the Events tab.
Heat map
The Heat Map shows where the team was most active on the pitch. Switch between Our Team and Opponent to compare coverage, and use the selector in the top right to switch between the full recording and each period to see how positioning changed during the match.
Passing
The Passing section shows how the ball moved. Switch between Our Team and Opponent, and use the selector in the top right to view the full recording or a single period.
Pass strings: how many sequences of 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 or more connected passes the team put together.
Pass location: the share of passes played in each zone of the pitch, from defensive to attacking.
Change the measurement units
Distance and speed follow your phone's system settings, not a setting inside the Veo app. To switch between metric (km, km/h) and imperial (miles, mph), change the region or measurement system on your device.
- iOS — open Settings > General > Language & Region and change Measurement System
- Android — open Settings > System > Languages & input and change your region or locale
Note: Reopen the Veo app after changing the setting so the new units are applied.
Same stats, other places
This page covers what you see on your phone. On desktop you get more depth:
- Analytics panel: view match data in the Veo Editor — the same match with Coach Assist, 2D radar and the momentum graph
- Player stats in Analytics Studio — trends across a season, for coaches

Veo Analytics 2 only applies to recordings made after the add-on was purchased. Matches recorded before that are not re-analyzed.
You need to be a member of the team on Veo. Ask your coach or admin to invite you to the team.
This appears when a jersey has been detected but not yet linked to a player. The stats are still there — the player just hasn't claimed that jersey yet.
Physical stats such as distance, speed and sprints are AI-generated and cannot be edited manually. Event stats can be corrected in the Veo Editor.
Player stats are available for matches uploaded after August 18, 2026, for teams with an active Veo Analytics 2 subscription.
Not necessarily. A stat shows 0 when the event didn't happen during your time on the pitch — for example, 0 sprints in a short appearance. Compare it with your time played and distance in the physical section.
