Veo Cam 1 FAQ guide

Veo Cam 1

This article answers the most common customer questions about the Veo Cam 1,  including features, recording quality, connectivity, and more.

Can I livestream with a Veo Cam 1?

No. Livestreaming is only available with Veo Cam 2 and Veo Cam 3.

Is the Veo Cam 1 waterproof?

Veo Cam 1 is water-resistant (not waterproof). It can withstand light rain and small splashes, but should not be exposed to heavy rain or submerged in water.

Tip: Always make sure the rubber covers are tightly closed before using the camera outdoors.

What video quality does the Veo Cam 1 record in?

The Veo Cam 1 records in 4K resolution. However, during processing, the final video is optimized to 1080p HD to enable smooth zooming and panning while following the action.

This optimization also ensures the videos can be viewed easily in a browser, as it wouldn’t be possible to stream two 4K recordings simultaneously.

Can I remove the sound from a recording?

Yes. If you are the recording owner and have the necessary permissions, you can follow this guide to remove the audio: How to remove the audio from a Veo recording

I recorded two games together by mistake. Can I separate them?

It’s not possible to split recordings directly in the Veo Editor. However, you can download the video and use an external video editor to separate the matches.

Note: Once edited externally, you won’t be able to re-upload the videos to the Veo platform.

Can I record and charge the Veo Cam 1 at the same time?

No. Recording and charging cannot be done simultaneously with the Veo Cam 1.

Why does my Veo Cam 1 show “No internet connection”?

This message is normal. The camera’s Wi-Fi does not provide internet access — it’s simply a connection method between your mobile device and the Veo Cam.

You can safely ignore the message and continue connecting to the camera without any issues.
