What do the lights on my Veo Cam 1 mean?

Learn what the indicator lights on your Veo Cam 1 mean: whether your camera is turning on, uploading footage, updating, or charging.


The indicator lights at the bottom of your Veo Cam 1 show the current status of the camera. By observing the color and blinking pattern of the lights, you can quickly understand what the camera is doing.

Power light indicators

The power light indicates the camera’s operational status, from being turned on to recording or connecting to the internet.

  • 🟢 Turning on: The green light blinks while the camera starts up.
  • 🟢 Turned on: The green light stays solid when the camera is ready for connection.
  • 🔴 Turning off: The red light blinks when the camera is powering down.
  • 🟢 Recording: The green light blinks while the camera is recording.
  • ⚪️ Connected to the internet: The white light stays solid when the camera is connected via Ethernet.
  • ⚪️ Uploading: The white light blinks while footage is being uploaded to the cloud.

Battery light indicators

The battery light shows the camera’s charging status.

  • 🪫 Charging: The battery icon glows red while charging.
  • 🔋 Fully charged: The battery icon turns green when charging is complete.

Note

If you see unusual light patterns or no light at all, make sure the camera is connected properly and charged.
