Learn how to live stream directly to Twitch using your Veo Cam. This guide walks you through the full setup process, from adding Twitch as a streaming destination to starting and managing your live stream.
Requirements
- An active Veo Live add-on subscription
- A Twitch account
- A Veo Cam connected to the internet via Wi-Fi, hotspot, or SIM card (for Veo Cam 3 5G)
- Admin permissions to acces the Veo Live section on the Veo Clubhouse
Step 1: Set up Twitch as a streaming destination
Start by adding Twitch as a streaming destination on your Veo account.
-
Go to app.veo.co and select Veo Live from the left-hand menu to open the Stream Settings page.
-
Click "Add streaming destination" and select Twitch from the drop-down menu. Give the destination a name so you can easily identify it later, then click Continue.
-
You’ll now need to enter a Stream Key. This is a unique code that connects your Veo Cam to your Twitch account.
-
To find your Stream Key:
- Go to twitch.tv and log in.
- Click your profile icon → Creator Dashboard.
- In the left menu, select Settings → Stream.
- Copy your Primary Stream Key using the Copy button.
-
Go back to Stream Settings on app.veo.co and paste the copied stream key into the field provided. Accept the terms and click Create streaming destination to finish setup.
-
Twitch is now successfully added as a streaming destination.
Tip: You can enable a toggle to request a new stream key each time you start a live stream. This allows you to use different Twitch accounts or channels for different games.
Step 2: Start the livestream
Once Twitch is connected, you can start streaming from the Veo Camera app.
-
Open the Veo Camera App, connect to your camera, and make sure it’s online. Tap Go Live.
-
Enter your match details and tap Next.
-
Select Twitch as the streaming destination and tap Next.
Note: If you chose “Request stream key when starting live stream” during setup, you’ll be prompted to paste the stream key at this step.
- Swipe to Go Live and start streaming.
Your Veo Cam is now live streaming to Twitch! Please note there’s a delay of around 60 seconds before your stream appears on Twitch.
Step 3: Manage your stream on Twitch
To view and manage your broadcast, go to your Creator Dashboard and select Stream Manager.
From here, you can edit the stream title, category, and description by clicking Edit Stream Info. This helps make your live stream easier for viewers to find.
When your broadcast ends, tap Stop livestream in the Veo Camera App. The stream will automatically stop on Twitch as well.
