Match stats puts both teams side by side for a single match, right inside the Veo Editor. Learn where to find Stats, how to pick a timeframe, how to choose which rows you see, and what each stat counts.

Overview of Match stats
Match stats shows the event count for each team in a match, with your team and the opponent next to each other. Each stat has a bar for both teams, so it's easy to see where one side came out on top.
You'll find it in the Stats section of the Analytics panel in the Veo Editor.
Setup and configuration
To ensure the Match stats function correctly, you must first confirm the periods and sides of the pitch.

How to find Match stats
- Log in at app.veo.co and open the recording from your Library
- Open the Analytics panel from the right-side menu
- Scroll down to the list of sections and select Stats to expand it
Choose a timeframe
By default, Stats shows the Full recording. To look at one part of the match only:
- Select the Full recording dropdown at the top of the Stats section
- Choose the period you want to see
Edit rows
You can choose which stats appear in the table, so you only see the numbers that matter to you. For the full list of stats, see the Veo Analytics 2 stats glossary.
- Select Edit rows at the top of the Stats section
- Select the stats you want to show, and unselect the ones you want to hide
- Save your changes
Note: You need Editor permissions on the team to edit rows.
How stats are generated
Veo Stats are generated in two ways:
- Veo AI: Veo automatically detects key match events, such as goals, shots, free kicks, corners, penalties and goal kicks
- Events created by users: Data is pulled from the tags used in the events you create
Tip: When you create an event, always choose which team the event is for. This makes sure the event counts for the correct team in Stats.
Where to find possession and passing stats
Possession and passing stats are no longer shown in Stats in the Analytics panel. You can find them in the Match Report instead:
- Possession %
- Successful passes (previously Passes completed)
- Pass strings

Editing rows needs Editor permissions on the team. Ask a team admin to update your permissions.
Check that the periods and sides of the pitch are confirmed for the recording, and that every event you created has a team assigned. Also check Edit rows to make sure the stat isn't hidden.
