This article explains the three privacy settings available for Clubs on the Veo Live app: Public, Unlisted, and Private, and how to change your Club's privacy in the Veo Live app. It also outlines how these settings impact visibility and follower behavior and provides steps for removing followers to enhance privacy.
Requirement
You must be a Club admin on the Veo Live app to change privacy settings or manage followers.
Privacy settings overview
Club admins can define how visible their Club is on Veo Live by selecting one of three privacy levels:
Public
- Your Club appears in Veo Live search results
- All club members follow the Club by default (they can unfollow)
- The Club profile can be shared via a link
Unlisted
- Your Club does not appear in search results
- All club members follow the Club by default (they can unfollow)
- The Club profile can be shared and accessed via the shared link—even by non-members
Private
- Your Club does not appear in search results
- All club members follow the Club by default (they can unfollow)
- The Club profile cannot be shared or accessed via a link
Important: When a Club is Private, only Club Members can view recordings and receive activity notifications. If someone is simply a Follower but not a Member, they will no longer see your content.
How to change your Club's privacy
To change the Club's visibility, do the following:
- Open the Veo Live app on your phone and log in
- Tap on Profile, then select the menu icon in the top-right corner
- Go to Settings and select Club privacy
- Choose the Club you want to edit and select the desired Privacy level
You’ve now successfully updated your Club’s privacy settings in the Veo Live app.
Note: Changing your privacy level will not remove or delete any of your current followers. It only determines who can find or join your Club moving forward and what content your existing followers can see, based on the settings you choose
