Learn what corner selection is, why it matters, and how to complete it when live-streaming with Veo Cam 2 or Veo Cam 3. This ensures the best results for your livestream and recording.
Note: Manual corner selection is only available when setting up a livestream. It is not possible to manually select corners for a regular recording only.
Corner selection is an essential step to ensure correct pitch detection and accurate tracking during your livestream and recording.
While setting up your livestream, the AI will attempt to select the pitch corners automatically. If it cannot detect them correctly, you’ll be prompted to complete the process manually.
At this stage, you’ll see two options: Accept default or Manual input. Always choose Manual input, as the default option can cause errors in pitch detection.
Manual input ensures the corners are marked accurately, giving you the best results for your livestream.
How to manually select corners
When prompted, tap Manual input.
Begin with the left side of the pitch. Press and hold a dot for one second to move it, then place each dot on the pitch corners. Once set, tap the arrow pointing to the right.
Repeat the process on the right side of the pitch. When ready, tap the checkmark to confirm.
The corner selection is complete and you can continue setting up your Live stream.
Important:
After completing corner selection, do not move the camera. Moving it will result in poor quality for both the livestream and the recording.
