Data providers and SIM cards Veo Cam users use to livestream

Veo Cam 2 and Veo Cam 3 5G

Learn how to choose a reliable data provider and SIM card plan for your Veo Cam 2 or Veo Cam 3 5G to ensure stable live streaming performance. This guide includes practical recommendations based on Veo testing and customer feedback.

Important note on streaming quality

Streaming performance depends on several factors such as network coverage, provider, location, and device type. Veo cannot guarantee the quality of your mobile network connection for live streaming.

Tips to improve connection quality

Based on our tests, the following recommendations can help increase your chances of maintaining a stable and high-quality live stream:

  • Use a data-only SIM plan for the best streaming performance
  • Choose a 5G plan when available. The Veo Cam 3 5G supports both 5G and 4G networks. The Veo Cam 2 supports only 4G but can still work with a 5G plan
  • Request a data plan designed for tablets, routers, or IoT devices such as security cameras
  • Some unlimited data plans may reduce speed after a certain usage threshold, which can cause issues when live streaming. Confirm with your provider if this applies to your plan
  • Ensure your SIM card does not require a PIN before inserting it into your Veo Cam 2
