Available for Veo Cam 1.png

There are two different ways to connect to your Veo Cam 1: using the Veo Camera app or the web browser interface at cam.veo.co. This guide explains how to resolve connectivity issues for both methods so you can get back to recording your games.

Requirements

  • Veo Cam 1 at hand
  • Mobile device (iOS or Android) with the Veo Camera app installed
  • Access to the camera’s Wi-Fi password (printed on the back of the camera)

Troubleshooting the browser connection (cam.veo.co)

If you are having trouble connecting to the camera’s Wi-Fi network accessing cam.veo.co, follow these steps.

Try reconnecting to the VEOCAM Wi-Fi network

  1. Disable mobile data on your phone
  2. Open your Wi-Fi settings and find the network named VEOCAM-XXXX
  3. Select the network, choose Forget Network, and confirm
  4. Return to your Wi-Fi list and reconnect to the VEOCAM network using the password kickoff!
  5. Once connected, open your browser and navigate to cam.veo.co

Alternative method: Use Flight Mode

  1. Enable Flight Mode (Airplane Mode) on your phone
  2. Manually turn on Wi-Fi and connect to the VEOCAM network
  3. Open your browser and go to cam.veo.co

Using Flight Mode ensures your device does not try to switch to a mobile data connection while interacting with the camera

iOS specific troubleshooting

If the Veo Camera app on your iOS device cannot find the camera, adjust your privacy and network settings.

Disable Limit IP Address Tracking

  1. Exit the Veo Camera app
  2. Enable Airplane Mode on your iPhone
  3. Go to Wi-Fi Settings and connect to the VEOCAM-XXXX network
  4. Tap the blue information (i) icon next to the network name
  5. Disable Limit IP Address Tracking

  6. Reopen the Veo Camera app and attempt to connect

Disabling this setting ensures the phone communicates correctly with the camera's internal server

Android specific troubleshooting

Android devices require active permissions to maintain a stable connection with the Veo Cam 1.

Check app permissions and interference

  1. Go to your phone settings and confirm the Veo app has Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and Location Services permissions enabled
  2. Close the Veo Camera app and enable Airplane Mode
  3. Turn on Wi-Fi manually and connect to the VEOCAM-XXXX network
  4. Reopen the Veo Camera app and try to connect again

Airplane mode limits other wireless interferences

Reset network settings (Last Resort)

If you still cannot connect via the app or browser, resetting your device's network settings can resolve deep-seated conflicts.

Warning: This will delete all saved Wi-Fi networks and Bluetooth pairings. You will need to manually reconnect to your home networks afterward

  1. Go to Settings and navigate to the Reset menu (General on iOS, System on Android)
  2. Select Reset Network Settings and confirm
  3. After the reset, reconnect to the Veo Cam Wi-Fi and open the Veo Camera app
