Learn how to use the timeline in your Veo recordings to review key match moments. The timeline gives you quick access to periods, events, clips, and bookmarks. If you have Veo Analytics, you will also see match momentum included in the timeline.
Requirements
- A recorded match available in your Veo Clubhouse
- Veo Analytics add-on subscription (only required if you want access to Match momentum)
Purpose of the timeline
The timeline is designed to simplify match review. Instead of watching the entire recording from start to finish, the timeline allows you to:
- Navigate quickly to goals, clips, or bookmarked moments
- Analyze game flow with match momentum (for Veo Analytics users)
- Focus on key plays by filtering events by team
- Save time by playing only events or clips instead of the full match
How to open or hide the timeline
- Open the match recording you want to review.
- Click the Open timeline button in the bottom right corner of the screen.
- To hide the timeline again, click the same button.
Note: The timeline is available in both follow cam and interactive mode.
What you see in the timeline
- Periods: Displays the different halves or periods of the match.
- Match momentum: Shows the game flow and which team had control at different moments. (Only visible with Veo Analytics.)
- Events: Marks detected events such as goals and shots on goal.
- Clips: Displays AI-generated and manually created clips.
Bookmarks: Moments you saved while recording the match.
Playing the recording
- If you press Play on the video player, the full recording will play normally from start to finish. You will see the action reflected on the timeline as it plays.
- If you press Play from the Events or Clips rows in the timeline, the recording will play only those moments, automatically jumping from one event or clip to the next.
Filtering events by team
You can filter the timeline to show events for your own team or the opponent. Click on Customize timeline and use the toggle next to Own team or Opponent under Filter events by.
