This article shows you how to easily share your Veo recordings directly to Facebook, WhatsApp, X (formerly Twitter), or by email. You can also copy a link to post anywhere you prefer.
Requirements
- You must have admin or editor rights to share recordings.
- The recording must be set to Public to be shareable.
Sharing options
There are two ways to share your recordings on social media:
- Direct share: Post directly to Facebook, WhatsApp, X, or email.
- Shareable link: Copy a link and post or send it anywhere you like.
When you share a recording via social media or a link, viewers see a thumbnail and title. Clicking it will open the Veo video player; no Veo account is needed to watch the recording.
Steps to share a recording
- Log in to the Veo platform at app.veo.co
- Select the recording you want to share.

Click the Share button located above the video player.

Select Share on social media.
Select a sharing method
After clicking "Share on social media", a pop-up will appear with the following options:
- X (Twitter)
- Copy link
Set a custom start time (optional)
When using the "Copy link" option, you can choose to start the video at a specific moment. To include the current timestamp, tick the checkbox below the link.
Important notes
- Recordings must be set to Public to be shareable.
- View-only: People with the link or social media access cannot add highlights or make edits.

No. If the recording has expired, the Share option will be greyed out and unavailable.
People can still open the link, and the video player will load, but they will only see any clips that were previously created.
No. Shared recordings are view-only. Others cannot add the recording to their Veo account or download it.
