The Share with Opponent feature allows you to send a copy of your match recording to another team so they can analyze it independently in their own Clubhouse.
Requirements
- You must be a Team Editor, Team Admin, or Clubhouse Admin to share recordings
Learn more about Veo roles and permissions here: Roles & Permissions - The recipient must have a Veo account or create a new Clubhouse to receive the recording
How it works
This feature is a one-way share. The receiving team gets a copy of the recording to use on their own account without seeing your manual edits, internal comments, or tags.
- Share any game by entering the recipient’s email address (must match their Veo account email)
- If the recipient doesn’t have a Veo account, they will be prompted to create a new Clubhouse
- You can share a recording with multiple email addresses
- Access can be revoked at any time, which removes the recording from the opponent's Clubhouse
How to share a recording
- Go to your Veo Clubhouse at app.veo.co
- Open the game you want to share
- Click the Share button above the video player
If you don’t see the Share button, check your account permissions -
Select Share with Opponent
- Enter the email address of the person you want to share the game with and confirm
Tip: You can view the list of recipients or revoke access under View shares at the bottom of the game page
How to accept a Share with Opponent invitation
- Open the email invitation and click Accept invitation
- Click Accept on the browser screen to confirm the share
- Log in to your account or follow the prompts to create a new Clubhouse if you are new to Veo
- If you already have a Veo account, select your Clubhouse from the dropdown menu to receive the video
Warning: If you see an error saying "The invitation could not be loaded," the original owner may have revoked the share
What happens after sharing?
Once the invitation is accepted, the recording appears in the opponent's Clubhouse. Here is how features carry over:
Analytics and Player Spotlight
- If both Clubhouses have active Analytics or Player Spotlight add-ons, the data will copy over
- If either Clubhouse lacks the required add-on, those features will not appear on the shared recording
Clips and Events
- The opponent Clubhouse receives AI-generated Clips and Events
- Manually created clips, comments, and tags do not copy over to the opponent
- The opponent can create their own normal clips and events, but they cannot create Directed Clips using Interactive Mode
Downloads
- Opponents can download the recording if they have an active subscription
Note: Share with Opponent is different from sharing a URL. Only recordings shared through this specific feature are imported into the opponent’s Clubhouse for analysis
