How recording hours work in your Veo plan

All Veo Plans overview

Every Plan on the Veo platform includes a set number of recording hours each month. This allowance determines how many hours of video can be made available to watch in a given month. At the start of every billing cycle, your recording hours refresh automatically, giving you a new batch to use.

To see what’s included in each plan, check out our pricing page.

What happens if you reach your limit?

If you use up all your monthly recording hours, your match will still upload to the Veo platform, but the video will stay locked until your hours refresh. You’ll see a message letting you know you’ve hit your limit, and you’ll also have the option to upgrade your Plan to get more hours right away.

Important: If you upgrade to a higher Plan, you’ll stay on that Plan until your current subscription period ends. If you’d like to switch back to a lower Plan, you must send us a downgrade request before your subscription renews. Once your subscription renews, it will switch to the lower Plan you’ve chosen.

If your remaining hours are less than the length of your next recording, the leftover time can’t be applied. Instead, the full length of that recording will be deducted from your new month’s allowance once it unlocks.

For example, if you have 2 hours left and record a 2h:30m match, the 2 hours won’t be used, and the full 2h:30m will be taken from your new cycle. However, those 2 remaining hours can still be used for shorter recordings you upload in the same month, even if the longer 2h:30m video is still locked.

To make the most of your allowance, try to plan recordings based on the time you have left before your hours reset.

Note for Veo Go users:

Unlike Veo Cams, if you reach your allowance limit in the Veo Go app, you won’t be able to start new recordings. You’ll need to wait until your hours refresh.

When do hours renew?

Your recording hours reset every month on the same day your Plan renews. For example, if your subscription was activated on September 15, your next set of hours will be added on October 15.

When your hours refresh, any locked recordings will automatically unlock. The hours they used will be deducted from your new monthly balance, and the rest will be ready for your upcoming games.
