How to organize your Veo League Exchange with seasons

Seasons help League Owners organize matches over time, making it easier to manage teams, track progress, and filter games. You can add seasons, assign matches by date, and activate or deactivate team participation for each season.

How to add seasons to your League

As a League Owner, you can add new seasons directly from your league’s admin panel.

  1. Go to your league’s admin panel
  2. Navigate to the section where you can add a new season
  3. Enter the season name, start date, and end date
  4. Click Save

Once saved, the season will appear in a dropdown menu next to your league’s name. This dropdown acts as a filter, displaying only the matches that took place within the selected season based on their match dates.

Tip: You can retroactively organize past matches by creating earlier seasons and assigning the appropriate date ranges.

Note: Matches that don’t fall within any defined season will appear when the All Seasons filter is selected.

How to manage team participation by season

Rosters change, and not every team plays each season. You can toggle team participation to keep your league relevant and organized:

  • Use the Activate toggle for teams participating in the current season
  • Use the Deactivate toggle for teams sitting out this season

This helps teams see only active opponents when uploading matches, while maintaining access to match history from past seasons.

Note: Deactivating a team won’t remove its members from the league. If you want to revoke access, remove users manually.
