How to prepare your Veo Cam for resale

Reselling your Veo Cam is a good way to recover value and help someone else benefit from it, whether you're upgrading to a newer model or no longer need your current one. This guide provides you with simple steps to help make your resale experience go smoothly.

If you have purchased a second-hand camera, refer to this other guide to help you get started: How to activate and use a previously owned Veo Cam

Requirements before you sell

  • Access to your Veo Clubhouse account
  • The physical camera and any included accessories
  • Unregister the camera
  • Inform the buyer that they need a subscription plan for the Veo Cam

Identify your Veo Cam model and included accessories

Start by confirming which Veo Cam you’re selling. Veo has three major camera generations:

  • Veo Cam 1
    Veo Cam 1
  • Veo Cam 2

  • Veo Cam 3 and Veo Cam 3 5G

Next, create a checklist of what's included in the sale:

  • Camera model (note the condition)
  • Charger
  • Tripod (specify if included and its size)
  • Carrying case
  • Mounting accessories
  • Any other important details for the buyer

Prepare your Veo Cam and account for resale

  1. Fully charge the Veo Cam and record a short test video to confirm it's working properly.
  2. Unregister the camera from your Veo Clubhouse so the new owner can register it under their account. Follow the steps in this guide: How to unregister a Veo Cam from your Clubhouse.
  3. Cancel any active subscription or remove your payment method to avoid unexpected charges. Learn how to cancel your subscription. You'll still have access to your Clubhouse account and recordings for the rest of your subscription period: 6 months for Starter plans and 12 months for all others.

Note: Subscriptions are not transferred with the camera. The buyer will need their own Veo account and subscription plan.
