How to use filters to find clips and events in the Veo Editor

Master the filters in Veo Editor to quickly find the exact moments you need. This guide shows you how to use Quick Filters for one-click results and advanced options for more specific searches.

Using Quick Filters in the Clips panel

The Clips panel displays every clip available in your recording. This includes:

  • AI-generated clips
  • Clips you created
  • Clips created by team members or club admins

To speed up your workflow, use Quick Filters located at the top of the panel:

  • Goals (available for football only)
  • Shots (available for football only)
  • By me (shows only clips you created)

Simply click a Quick Filter to instantly view the relevant clips. You can switch between these filters without manually clearing them.

Tip: When a filter is active, any download actions will only apply to the filtered clips

Using advanced filters in the filter panel

Open the Filter panel for more granular control. You can combine different criteria to narrow down your results.

Filter categories:

  • Event tags / Event types: Filter by specific tags or event types
  • Teams: Filter between your team and the opponent
  • Players: View moments involving specific players tagged in clips
  • Created by: Filter based on who created the clip or event
  • Match periods: Focus on specific halves or periods of the game
  • With comments: Show only clips that include discussions

How filters work together

Veo Editor uses specific logic when you select multiple filters:

  1. Across different categories (AND logic)
Selecting filters from different groups narrows the results. Only clips meeting all conditions appear.
    Example:
    1. Select "Shots" from Event tags
    2. Select "Own team" from Teams
    3. Result: You see only shots made by your team
  2. Within the same category (OR logic)
Selecting multiple options in the same group expands the results. Clips matching any of the options appear.
    Example:
    1. Select "Goals" and "Shots" from Event tags
    2. Result: You see every goal and every shot
  3. Combining both logics:
    Example:
    1. Select "Goals" and "Shots" from Event tags
    2. Select Multiple players from Players
    3. Result: You see every goal and every shot goals by all selected players (as long as they’ve been tagged)

Note:

  • Quick Filters are disabled if you have multiple advanced filters active; clear your current filters to use them again
  • Filters apply to AI-generated clips only after they have been saved
