Best practices for uploading Veo Go recordings

Follow these best practices to ensure your Veo Go recordings upload quickly and without interruptions. These steps help reduce delays and ensure smooth processing.


Requirements

  • Veo Go app installed and updated
  • Access to a stable WiFi connection
  • Sufficient storage and battery on your mobile device
  • Both phones must have the correct date and time settings

    Note: Before attempting to upload, make sure the timezone is set to automatic on both devices. If one phone has a manually set timezone that doesn’t match the actual current time, the upload may fail.


Best practices when uploading

  • Upload both halves of the recording promptly
    Start uploading both halves of your recording as soon as the game ends. Uploading late can lead to longer processing times and delays in video availability

    Note: Partial uploads may cause incomplete processing if not completed in a timely manner.

  • Keep the Veo Go app open
    Make sure the Veo Go app stays open in the foreground during the entire upload process. Closing or minimizing the app may interrupt the upload

    Tip: Turn off your device’s auto-lock feature temporarily to keep the screen active during upload.

  • Close other background apps
    Shut down any unnecessary apps running in the background. This frees up your device’s processing power and helps maintain a stable upload
  • Avoid interrupting the upload
    Interruptions, such as switching apps, turning off the screen, or losing internet, can restart the upload from the beginning

    Warning: Any interruption resets the upload progress, so it's best to keep your device focused solely on the upload until it’s complete.

  • Use a fast and stable WiFi connection
    Connect to a strong and stable WiFi network to ensure a smooth upload. Avoid weak or unstable signals and refrain from using mobile data when possible

    Tip: Test your connection speed before uploading if you're unsure of your network strength.

Note

Never delete the Veo Go app while you still have a recording waiting to be uploaded. If you remove the app before the upload is complete, the recording will be permanently lost and cannot be recovered.
