Prevent recording issues on Veo Go: Turn off "Bringing Devices Together" on iPhones

iPhones running iOS 18 include a feature called Bringing Devices Together, which allows seamless sharing between nearby devices. However, when you're using two iPhones mounted on the same tripod while recording with the Veo Go app, this feature may cause unexpected interruptions. To avoid this, we recommend turning it off during recordings.

How to turn off "Bringing Devices Together"

  1. Open Settings:
    • On your iPhone, tap the Settings app
  2. Go to AirDrop settings:
    • Tap General
    • Select AirDrop
  3. Disable the feature:
    • Find Bringing Devices Together
    • Toggle the switch to the Off position

After disabling this feature, your iPhone will no longer attempt to connect with nearby devices, ensuring a smooth recording experience with Veo Go.

What is "Bringing Devices Together"?

It's an iOS 18 feature that lets iPhones share content by simply being close to each other. While useful for quick transfers, it can interfere with Veo Go if multiple devices are nearby

Why does it interfere with Veo Go?

When two iPhones are placed close together, they may try to connect automatically, which can cause the Veo Go app to pause or stop recording

Will it affect other features?

No. You can still use AirDrop to manually share files by choosing a recipient from your contacts

How to turn it back on?

After your Veo Go session, follow the same steps above and switch Bringing Devices Together back to On if you want to use it again
