This article explains how to set up and manage Promotional Overlays when streaming on YouTube, Twitch, and other platforms.
With Overlays, you can upload images and display them on your Live matches.
This is perfect for promoting Club events, displaying information about the match, include the Club's logo or a crest, and more. But also, it is a great opportunity to promote Club's sponsors.
To set up and manage the Overlays on external destinations, follow these steps:
Step 1: Setting up your Overlays.
To add a package to your Clubhouse, you need to be a Clubhouse Admin. If you are, follow these steps to do it:
- Go to your Veo account at app.veo.co.
-
On the left side panel, look for the option Veo Live.
-
Go to the Overlays tab and click on Create new package +. Here you create a name for the package and upload images for the upper right image and the lower banner.
- Now click on Create.
- Once the package has been created, activate it to start using it on your streams in External Streaming Destinations. You can create multiple overlay packages, but only one package can be active at a time.
Step 2: Controlling Overlays during a livestream.
Whenever you start a live stream on an external destination, you can add and control your promotional overlays using the Producer Panel.
- To access the Producer Panel for external destinations, go to http://producer.live.veo.co/.
- Log in and select a live stream from the list of currently active live streams.
-
The control panel will open, and you will find the Promotional Overlays (Banner ad visibility and small banner ad visibility) at the bottom. You can activate and deactivate them by toggling them on and off.
You can enable one or both overlays simultaneously. Once activated, they’ll appear for all viewers and will also be visible in the on-demand version of the match.
