The Events section in the right-hand menu of any recording (indicated by a bullet point icon) displays all AI-detected match events in chronological order, timestamped from kick-off. You can also add events manually using the Quick Create Flow or the Events Menu Flow, filter them by type, team, player, or period, and create clips directly from the events list.

Requirements

  • Only available for soccer/football recordings
  • You must be a team Editor or team admin to add or edit match events

Create a Clip from the Events List

To create a clip, hover over the desired event and click the cam icon.

Filter Events

Click the three dots in the top-right of the Events menu to filter by type, team, player, or period.

Edit the Shotmap

If you use Veo Analytics, you can assign a specific location on the Shotmap to any manually added event.

Note: Remember that events (not clips) control match data for all videos uploaded after the release of Match Events. For older videos, clips still apply.
