Introduction to Shot map
Where your players shoot from matters. With the Shot map, you can provide visual evidence of why finding the right pass might be better than taking a long-distance shot.
Powered by Veo AI, this feature automatically tracks every shot taken by both teams and identifies which ones resulted in goals.
Note: For the Shot map to display accurately, you must first confirm the periods and sides of the pitch.
How to access the Shot map
You can find the Shot map within the Analytics section of your match report. It is available for both desktop and mobile users, so you can review performance in the clubhouse or on the go.
- Open your match in the Veo platform
- Navigate to the Analytics tab on the side menu
Filtering and Analyzing Data
The Shot map allows you to drill down into specific data points to get a clearer picture of your team's performance.
- Use the menu to select the specific match period or team you wish to analyze
- View key metrics including the number of goals, missed shots, total attempts, and your overall conversion rate
Tip: Use the conversion rate metric to discuss scoring efficiency with your strikers during post-match analysis.
