What heatmaps show
Heatmaps visualize team positioning over time. The redder the heatmap gets, the higher the concentration of play in that area.
This tool helps answer tactical questions such as:
- Is your team playing wide enough?
- Are the wings being used effectively?
- Is your team getting pushed back for long periods?
Before you start
Confirmed sides and periods of the pitch are essential for Heatmaps to work correctly.

- Select the Heatmap tab.
How to use Heatmaps
Select team and period
Heatmaps display one team and match period at a time. Use the team selector to choose your team or the opponent.
Set heatmap interval
Use the slider to choose an interval and generate a heatmap for that specific period. For example, select an interval just before a goal or key highlight to understand your team’s positioning.
Read the heatmap
The redder the heatmap, the higher the activity in that zone. Heatmaps are team-based player tracking visuals and do not differentiate between on- and off-ball movement.
Availability
- Heatmaps are available on both desktop and mobile.
