Use the Journal feature in the Veo Editor to share game insights with your team and add clickable timestamps that take them directly to key moments in the video.

What is the Journal?

The Journal is a feature in the Veo Editor that allows you to document your insights about a game, what went right, what went wrong, and what to improve.

There's no character limit, so feel free to write as much as you need to help your players improve and grow.

Who can use and view the Journal?

The Journal can be used by admins and editors on the team that the video is assigned to. All team members will be able to view the Journal notes.

You can find the Journal feature under the Summary tab in the options menu.

How to use timestamps in the Journal

You can add timestamps to your notes in the Journal to make them more actionable. Clicking on a timestamp will take the reader directly to that moment in the video.

To create a timestamp:

  1. Type the timestamp (e.g., 24:49) into the Journal together with your notes.
  2. Click outside the Journal box; this will automatically convert into a clickable bookmark.
  3. Click on the timestamp, and you will be taken to the right moment in the recording.

Note: You must be a member of the team assigned to the video to access the Journal.
